The MCPS-PRS Alliance has changed its name to PRS for Music, starting this week. The body has also halved the cost of buying a licence to listen to the radio at work.
An email to member stations said: "The PRS for Music identity represents us more effectively; it's bold, clear and confident and reflects our aim to provide better access to the world's best loved music, as well as making sure the people who created the music get paid."
Workplaces with four or fewer employees can now get a Music Licence for £44 pa (ex VAT), which sees a reduction of almost 50 per cent.
