Wave 102 Dundee presenter Jon Quipp is recovering from his performance in the new Saturday night prime time television show Total Wipeout.
Presented by Richard Hammond and Amanda Byram, Total Wipeout is a game show where men and women compete on one of the world’s largest, extreme obstacle courses, hoping to win a cash prize.
Speaking on his Total Wipeout experience, Jon said; I had a fantastic experience! My tactic was to attack the course head on! I wanted to prove that people don’t have to be the fittest or strongest to do this competition and I did that. It's not like sitting in a comfy, cosy radio studio – this is much tougher – but good fun”
David Moran, Programme manager of Wave 102 added "We are very proud of Jon. He is quite a go ahead, fun character but I think even this tested him."
