JACK fm's morning glory team stayed on-air all day on Thursday to provide continuous local news and information during severe weather conditions.

The team, made up of Trev, Sue, Greg and Glynn, stayed on air for over 12 hours following Oxfordshire’s biggest snow fall in 20 years.

The show updated listeners on over 300 school closures, bus and train cancellations, traffic updates and council services every 15 minutes since 6am.

The show has also featured live updates from right across the county, thanks to 100’s of text messages and phone calls. JACK fm is also using the facilities of Twitter, with Tweets from over 250 ‘Tweeple’ who follow the station.
