International transmission company WRN has appointed current Business Manager David Treadway as MD.
Founding shareholder and Technical Director Tim Ashburner is stepping down to make way for David.
He says: "“We are delighted to welcome David into his new role as Managing Director and are looking forward to him steering the company forward in the coming years. 2008 was a challenging year for WRN however our results show it was our most successful yet. David will use his experience to push WRN into new areas of business and spearhead the company’s aggressive acquisition and expansion agenda”.
David is happy too: “Tim has bought us to the point where WRN is stronger and more commercially effective today than at any point in its recent history and I am looking forward to building on this success for the future”.
David's career includes working at BBC Radio Sheffield, Radio 2 and heading the Radio 1 and 2 Light Entertainment and Popular Music production department in Manchester.
