Century Radio is to support two northwest children’s hospitals over the next 12 months.
Together, the Alder Hey Liverpool and the New Children’s Hospital Manchester will be referred to on air as The North West Children’s Hospitals Appeal.
The first fund raising event will be the annual Bring a Pound to Work Day on April 30th, a month after the station changes its name to Real Radio.
Century Radio Programme Director Dave Shearer said: “Being able to announce that we can contribute to these two very important charities is wonderful. The fact that they look after sick children across the Northwest give us an extra incentive to ensure that fund raising days such as Bring A £ To Work Day really are as effective and encourage our always generous listeners to dig just a little bit deeper this year.”
