Capital FM breakfast presenter Johnny Vaughan was the only radio presenter to win at this year's TRIC Awards, and he managed to do it twice.
Johnny and co-host Lisa Snowdon were both in attendance at the Television and Radio Industry Club Awards, which took place this afternoon (Tuesday) at London’s Grosvenor Hotel.
The pair picked up the award for the Radio/Digital Radio Programme Category for the Breakfast Show, beating Chris Moyles and Chris Evans, whilst Johnny also scooped the award for Digital Radio Personality of the Year, beating off John Humphrys and Chris Evans again.
Johnny Vaughan said on winning today: “It’s great to see the Breakfast show that is most loved by Londoners getting the recognition it deserves. I’m also chuffed about winning my own award’.
