CN Group has appointed Amanda Bell as Station Manager of Lakeland Radio. Amanda joins from the now defunct Abbey FM where she held the same position.
Prior to her appointment at Abbey FM two years ago, Amanda worked for The Radio Business, part-owner of the Barrow-in-Furness station along with TLRC and CN Group.
Abbey FM [link=https://radiotoday.co.uk/news.php?extend.4343.2]closed[/link] on January 30th after being placed into administration by its owners.
Lakeland Radio is fully owned by CN Group and broadcasts from Kendal to the south Lakes area.
In joining the station this week, Amanda told RadioToday.co.uk: "I am delighted to be joining the team at Lakeland Radio, over the last 2 or 3 years I have worked closely with them and CN group and am looking forward to being a part of the family!"
