GMG Radio head of music Terry Underhill is leaving the group this week following a management structure review. Underhill, who was appointed to the role in January 2007, has been with the group for eight years.
Underhill started off as breakfast presenter and programme director of GMG’s first station in Wales. He then relocated to its Yorkshire operations before taking on the group head of music role.
GMR radio group programme director John Simons says, “Terry has contributed enormously to the success of the group. He has been a loyal employee and has shown tremendous passion and commitment to the growth of the business. We wish Terry every success in the future and he goes with our best wishes.”
