Community radio station 106.6 Indigo FM in Cumbria has signed comedian and former Bullseye host Jim Bowen to present a mid afternoon slot.
The station, which has been broadcasting to Kirkby Lonsdale, Sedbergh, Ingleton, Casterton, Hornby, Caton and Clapham for almost 12 months, is led by Paul Broadbent.
Indigo FM is attempting to establish itself with an "innovative business model that relies on sponsorship opportunities for local businesses rather than traditional advertising breaks."
Bowen joins fellow presenters Steven Bell and James Mulville on the schedule.
