Chris Evans is the man to fill the boots of long-time Sony Awards host Paul Gambaccini as he takes over for this year's ceremony on May 11th.
The BBC Radio 2 afternoon drivetime presenter will host the 27th Sony Radio Academy Awards at London’s Grosvernor House Hotel.
Chris himself has been nominated eight times for a Sony and winning gold an impressive five times, including The Gold Award for Career Achievement, in 1998.
The Awards Webcast will be presented live from the balcony of the Great Room at Grosvenor House on the 11th of May and will be presented by Richard Allinson and Margherita Taylor.
