Currie supports UTV Radio Group

Former Heart Programme Director Francis Currie has been hired as a consultant by UTV Radio to provide strategic and operational support.

Francis, who will continue to provide independent programming support training and coaching to his clients both in the UK and overseas, will be working closely with the Senior Management and local Programmers in a project to review and develop all aspects of their ILR Programming.
Francis Currie said: “This is an exciting opportunity to work with boththe local teams and the senior management on the output of the Group. I can’t wait to get stuck in”.
UTV’s Director of Local Radio, Calum Macaulay, said: "We are delighted to have engaged Francis in a consultancy role and look forward to working closely with him over the coming months in driving forward UTV Radio's local audiences”
Francis has previously worked at Heart as Programme Director, where he later became Group PD for the network. He was also launch director at Magic 105.4 in London.
