More cash for Radio Aire Kids

Four local people from Leeds raised over 1K in twelve hours for 96.3 Radio Aire and Magic 828’s charity Cash For Kids.

The four locals where set the challenge as part of a competition called ‘Live With Logie’ where the contestants have to live 24/7 with a life size doll of 96.3 Radio Aire breakfast presenter Simon Logan and carry out tasks for a chance to win a cash prize of £1000.
The competition was launched on Monday 20th April and for the past week Simon Logan has been meeting with the contestants and their Logie dolls. He joined them on a pub crawl, to the cinema, out for dinner, in a limo and also had them run onto the pitch at half time during a Leeds Rhino’s home game.
On Tuesday morning the contestants where asked to raise as much money as they could for Cash For Kids and between them they raised £1058.07.
Cash For Kids charity manager Ros Raine Said “This is a great achievement in just twelve hours, I take my hat of to them all for doing such a good job. The money will be used to help sick, disabled and underprivileged kids in West Yorkshire. ”
