Real Radio Yorkshire has teamed up with Sheffield International Venues to become the company’s official radio media partner in a two year agreement.
SIV operates Ponds Forge International Sports Centre, Sheffield Arena and Sheffield City Hall, and hosts more than 2,000 events and attracts four million customers every year.
As part of the two year deal, Real Radio and SIV will work together on a number of joint projects, including U2 at the Don Valley Stadium in August, which is set to attract 52,000 people.
Managing director of Real Radio, Steve South, said: “It is an exciting time for Real Radio and this new partnership with SIV will create a huge number of new and unique opportunities in the Yorkshire region.
