Bauer Media's Radio City is running an eight week promotion to pay listeners bills.
Listeners can submit any bill of their choice up to the value of £500, and each day, the Liverpool station will chose a bill at random and give the person who submitted it a 967 second window to call the studio and claim their prize.
Euan McMorrow, Radio City 96.7’s Programme Controller, said: “Thousands of listeners have already registered to have their bills paid by us and we haven’t even started giving out the money yet! It goes to show that focusing on life’s essentials rather than flashy holidays and cars is in tune with what’s on our audience’s mind at the moment. We can’t wait to start paying bills and putting smiles on listeners’ faces.”
