Celebrations on The Coast

The new owners at The Coast 106 in Southampton have reason to celebrate today after doubling the stations reach and hours in 12 months.

The Coast now has 83,000 listeners, tuning in for an average of 5.2 hours per week, giving them a five per cent reach in the area. The station has increased total hours from 272,000 to 428,000.
The station, previously launched as Original 106 and owned by CanWest MediaWorks, was bought by Celador Entertainment last year and re-launched with former Tindle boss Kevin Stewart in charge.
