Global Radio's iPhone app, which is up for an Arqiva Award for Technical Innovation, now has 33 radio stations available to choose from.
The extra stations were added as phase 2 of the Heart re brand took place at the end of April. Now, in addition to Galaxy Yorkshire, Classic FM, LBC, Xfm, Gold and Choice, 22 of the 24 Heart stations are available.
A location aware "Nearby" button will display a users nearest stations thanks to the built in GPS. The service also works on the iPod touch using Wi-Fi location information.
