Kevin Maguire, Associate Editor of the Daily Mirror, will be hosting his own show on LBC 97.3 on 10 May. Sitting in for Andrew Pierce, the current affairs show will be rebranded as ‘Kevin Maguire and friends’.
Broadcast live from 11am to 2pm, the programme includes up-to-date news and current affairs, a satirical review of the week’s major news stories, plus interviews with high-profile guests and celebrities making the headlines.
Kevin Maguire said: "I'm really excited about presenting on LBC 97.3 after appearing on the station's programmes and listening to its shows for years. If Frank Lampard would like to call LBC 97.3 again, I'd be delighted to put him on."
LBC 97.3’s Programme Director Jonathan Richards added: “Kevin is one of the UK’s most respected political commentators and hugely charismatic as well. I’m delighted he’s joining us, his contribution will make riveting listening.”
