talkSPORT extends Collymore deal

talkSPORT has signed presenter Stan Collymore in a deal that will keep him at the station for at least another two years. Collymore joined the network in the summer of 2008.

Collymore has worked across the station as match summariser and co-commentator on the station’s live football commentaries, co-host of the nightly Kick Off with Danny Kelly, and as the anchor of Call Collymore.
Moz Dee, talkSPORT, programme director, said: “talkSPORT has given Stan the opportunity to show what a fantastic broadcasting talent he is. I’m delighted that we’ve been able to secure his talents with a new two-year contract.
“Stan will be an integral part of talkSPORT’s coverage of the 2009/10 Premier League and following that, the greatest tournament on Earth, the 2010 World Cup.”
Collymore added: “The station’s passion, commitment and love of football are evident so it was a no-brainer when they asked if I would like to extend my contract. Next season is already promising to be as good, if not better, than this and with the World Cup just a little over 12 months away, I can’t think of a better place to be than talkSPORT.”
