New marketing man for Global

Giles Pearman is set to replace Nicola Thomson as Group Director of Marketing of Global Radio, from July 1st.

Pearman, who is currently Group Enterprises Director at Global, and formerly Marketing Director of Classic FM, will report to Global Radio’s Director of Broadcasting, Richard Park.
His responsibilities will include the strategic development and implementation of all marketing campaigns across Global’s seven pillar brands with his first focus on a new brand ad campaign for 95.8 Capital FM followed by campaigns for LBC and Classic FM later in the year.
Commenting on the appointment, Richard Park said: “Giles has a proven track record. He is a talented guy able to lead a big successful team and committed to the success of Global’s portfolio of brands.”
Giles Pearman said: "I have been in the radio industry for 10 years, and there’s no doubt that Global is a thriving organisation determined for the success of its radio stations. I am excited to be playing my part in that process.”
Nicola Thomson is moving to New York with her family later in the summer.
