Belfast's Citybeat, owned by CN Group, is launching a new daytime schedule including John Kearns and Glen Pavis.
MTV host John Kearns, and ex Cool FM presenter Glen Pavis, will be taking the over the mid morning and afternoon drive shows. Current drive presenter Stuart Robinson will now host “Belfast’s Bigger Breakfast” with his sidekick, Work Experience Boy.
John Kearns and Stuart Robinson will start from 15th June, and Glen Pavis will join them a month later in July.
Kearns, previously with talkSPORT, said: “I’m absolutely delighted to be joining Citybeat at a time that’s so exciting for Belfast. Audiences here expect the best – and that’s what we’ll be aiming to deliver to them every morning!”
John will be combining his Citybeat show with his music television work in London,
Glen, who was at Cool FM for over ten years, has been working in radio in Spain since his departure from the Newtownards based station two years ago. He commented: "Although it’s been really exciting working in radio in another country, I’m delighted to be getting back home to bring to Belfast a show that’s all about interaction with the audience."
