Digital-station Fun Kids is to broadcast a special one-off show this weekend to celebrate Camp Bestival.
The show, this Sunday 26 July at 4pm, will feature music from Camp Bestival, along with well known kids tunes, presented by Mike Cuban (Chief Bestival Blue Coat), and festival creator and curator Rob da Bank.
Mike said “We had a ball making the Camp Bestival show for Fun Kids. Myself and Rob da Bank discussed the world of children’s TV, all the family and kids activities at our show and general silliness to a soundtrack of Bob The Builder and Dolly Parton. What could be more fun!”
Matt Deegan, Station Manager of Fun Kids, said “We are delighted that Camp Bestival is joining Fun Kids and presenting a unique show of great music and stories. Kids across the UK will be having their very own Camp Bestival in their front room, bedroom or garden this Sunday”.
Meanwhile, the station has teamed up with PURE to launch the PURE Fun Pack, which includes a special summer PURE Fun comic, a “Do not disturb, I’m listening to Fun Kids” bedroom door hanger and stickers specially designed for the PURE ONE Mini portable radio. It features characters such as Angelina Ballerina, Bob the Builder, Fireman Sam and Barney, as well as Fun Kids’ very own Robot.
