Absolute has it under CTRL

Absolute Radio is testing a new London DAB station, which will play a selection of rock and pop, with live music for a broad adult audience. Its internal working title is Absolute CTRL.

The new service appeared on DAB in London last week, but no word was received from Absolute Radio management, who were thought to be behind the new service.
Absolute has now confirmed the station will broadcast from 7pm till 6am, sharing a slot with Fun Kids on the London 3 multiplex, and will be in addition to Absolute Radio’s current three services – Absolute Radio, Absolute Radio Classic Rock and Absolute Radio Xtreme.
At the moment, the CTRL name is on the DAB scroll but the alpha testing of the station is being done within a controlled group – the station is not yet broadcasting live.
