Nottingham presenter in hospital

BBC Radio Nottingham's mid-morning presenter Frances Finn is in hospital after a motorbike crash.

The Nottingham Evening Post reports Frances was taken to the Queen's Medical Centre after a motorbike crash on Tuesday, where she suffered serious facial injuries.
Frances has been keeping her listeners updated with her progress via Twitter, with [link=http://twitter.com/francesfinnshow]tweets[/link] such as "Emergency services amazed I'm not dead. Being looked after at QMC. Face now an even more offensive weapon" and "Motorbike smash yesterday. Car turned right across my path as I set off from lights. So thankful to be alive and not paralysed. Face hit car".
Her motorbike was in collision with a Mercedes convertible car but she is now in a stable condition.
The presenter has since uploaded a [link=http://twitpic.com/dmtfr]photo[/link] to her Twitter account of her injuries.
