NAB Radio Conference cancelled

This year’s NAB European Radio Conference – due to take place in Athens through 25-27 October – has been cancelled due to the pinch being felt by the current economic climate.

The event was due to take place at the Intercontinental Hotel in Athens, Greece, with a number of UK radio industry figures lined up to speak including Keri Jones from Radio Scilly, Jason Bryant from Town and Country Broadcasting, former Capital Radio boss Keith Pringle and consultant Nik Goodman.
The news comes just six weeks after the UK Sound Broadcasting Equipment Show was [link=https://radiotoday.co.uk/news.php?extend.5029]cancelled[/link].
The organisers have already announced next year’s regular conference; their annual get together in Las Vegas will take place from April 12th to 15th.
Last year the NAB European Radio Conference was held in London.
