Former Isle of Wight presenter Charlie Brook is returning to the station for a one-off cover programme tomorrow.
Charlie, who hasn't been on the station for over a decade, will cover Tom Stroud's mid-morning show from 10am till 2pm.
Programme Director Paul Topping said: “We are delighted to welcome Charlie back, he’s a great station friend and I know many listeners will remember him fondly. For someone of Charlie’s calibre to accept our invitation really is testament to how far the station has progressed in recent months.”
Charlie has most recently been presneting on shopping television channel QVC, and admits to a few pre-show nerves:“When I was last on radio, we had things called vinyl and CDs. Whereas now, I keep being told it’s all touch screen technology. There may some on-air silences while I try and get things to work!”
