BBC Radio 2 presenter Chris Evans has voiced praise for the late night presenter at Juice FM in Liverpool.
He said in a newspaper interview that Johnny Collins could be the next Chris Moyles or Chris Evans.
Chris Evans was in Liverpool to promote his new autobiography last week at the local Waterstones. He popped into Juice FM to meet the radio station team, have a look around the office and record an interview for the late show.

On the online video interview, Chris said “Seeing JC at Juice FM, having the time of his life – it’s the breeding ground for the next me or Chris Moyles.”
Johnny said “Evans is someone that I admired from a very young age – he got me into radio. That fact that someone of his talent said that gives me a lot of confidence to keep going. He’s invited me down to London to watch him at work and go for a drink after! Exciting times!”
