Bauer Media's Head of Regulatory and Public Affairs Mike Philips is being made redundant from the company.
Kerrang! and Q's acting station manager Steve King will now take on extra responsibilities to cover Mike's work.
Group MD of Radio Dee Ford said in an announcement to staff on Friday: "I would like to thank Mike personally and on behalf of the business for his consistent sound advice, wise counsel and exemplary management of any compliance issues withOfcom."
Mike Phillips commented: “I have enjoyed my time with Bauer Media working closely with Dee, Travis, Steve and our station teams. It is has been a privilege working with such professionals at Bauer and at Ofcom. Both organisations sharea common purpose in wanting to see each and every station achieve ever greater things. Our industry has undergone enormous structural change over recent years and I am pleased to have played a part. I wish my colleagues at Bauer Media all the very best for the future.”
