Corby will have a new community radio station next Saturday, as Corby Radio launches on 96.3 FM.
The town is already covered by local commercial station Connect FM, but is broadcasting from outside its TSA in Peterborough.
Station manager Des Barber told RadioToday.co.uk: "I’m really excited, it’s been a long time coming, the Corby Radio team has worked really hard over the last 13 years. We now look forward to getting on with the job of providing a first-class service to the people of Corby."
The station will launch with entertainment in the town centre and live link-ups on-air.
