Global Radio is to launch updated versions of its station’s mobile phone applications, starting with new versions of the 95.8 Capital FM application.
The latest apps are being released with improved audio quality and will now be available for Android and Nokia mobile phones, as well as Google's new Nexus One phone.
Global has the most popular radio applications across the UK with a million downloaded since they were original launched.
Richard Park, Group Executive Director and Director of Broadcasting said: “Passing the million mark in application downloads is a great achievement for us, and demonstrates the increasing popularity of listening to radio ‘on the go’.“
