Nicely timed to take a little attention away from Chris Evan's debut breakfast show on Radio 2 this morning, is Global Radio's own breakfast announcement that Johnny Vaughan and Lisa Snowdon have re-signed to Capital FM for another two years.
The two have been on-air for 18 months together and increased audience by almost 60,000, and remain the most listened to commercial radio breakfast show in London.
Johnny Vaughan, co presenter of the 95.8 Capital FM breakfast show, commented: “I’ve loved waking up to Lisa for the past year and a half and I’m looking forward to another two years together!”
