95.8 Capital FM has signed multi-platinum selling artist Akon to present a brand new Saturday evening show, starting this weekend at 7pm.
The new presenter has sold over 7 million albums worldwide as an artist and picked up numerous awards including three World Music Awards and five Grammy Award nominations.
The new role adds to his other sidelines which include being a producer, record label owner, running his own fashion line and a charity foundation.
Programme Director for Capital, Paul Jackson said: “We are delighted to welcome one of the world’s greatest R&B artists to 95.8 Capital FM. Akon has worked with legendary performers such as Lady Gaga, Whitney Houston and Eminem and his brand new show on Capital will be awesome. London is going to love him!”
