Real re-signs Cowell for BGT

Simon Cowell's big brother Tony has re-signed to report exclusively for Real Radio on this years series of Britain's got Talent.

Tony's unique access to Simon will help him in his series of 'Cowell Confidential' reports for the Real Breakfast Show, every Friday and Monday morning from the 16th of April.

In 2009, Tony was Real Radio's official X Factor correspondent, providing listeners with exclusive backstage insight in his chats with breakfast presenters in the North West and North East of England, Scotland, Wales and Yorkshire.

Tony has said: “I'm delighted to back on the Real Breakfast shows. Last year's BGT was absolutely massive – thanks mainly to Susan Boyle. So this year expect the whole world to be watching! Naturally, Simon is looking to raise the bar and top last year's ratings; can he find another Susan Boyle?"

“I'll be going backstage at the live shows to get all the backstage gossip and exclusive interviews with the judges for my Cowell Confidential BGT reports.”

GMG Radio’s Group Programme Director, John Simons, added: “We are delighted to welcome Tony Cowell ‘back to Real Radio to cover BGT. It will be the biggest show on TV and the Real Breakfast shows will be the only place to get the real inside track on what’s going on.”
