Bauer has taken the lead at the 2010 Arqiva Commercial Radio Awards ceremony in London on Wednesday evening.

The group has 14 nominations, closely followed by Global Radio with 10 and GMG Radio receiving nine. Absolute Radio on its own managed to secure seven nominations.

Absolute's sister stations FM107.9 and JACK fm also got six between them, Lincs FM Group took three, and Town and Country and CN Group both received two each.

GTN is up against Global and Bauer for National Sales Team, and a handful of independent stations are also taking home a nomination including Mansfield 103.2 for Small Station of the Year.

The evening was hosted by 95.8 Capital FM’s Roberto and a live performance was given by Lee Ryan, a former member of boy band Blue who performed a selection of tracks including his latest single, ‘Secret Love’.
