Cowell backs Real Radio single

Tony Cowell is backing the Real Radio North West World Cup Single.

The charity song is a collaboration between breakfast presenters Ditchy & Salty and ‘Brother Beyond’ vocalist Nathan Moore, under the name of ‘Goals Aloud' for Help for Heroes.

Tony, who provides weekly updates on Britain's got Talent for the show, has given his backing to the single called ‘Bring It Home’; and has promised to get his brother Simon to have a listen.

Speaking on the Real Breakfast Show, Tony said: “I absolutely love it and I tell you what I’m going to do – and this is deadly serious – as you know Simon’s still in LA for two weeks… so I’m going to play it to him personally when he gets back… As you know Simon will, I’m sure, support Help for Heroes. Well done to both of you, I absolutely love that song.”

Real presenter Ditchy said: “Tony genuinely loved the song, I can’t wait to hear Simon Cowell’s reaction.”

His co-host Salty added: “Simon’s a big supporter of Help for Heroes, a couple of years back the X-factor finalists recorded a single for the charity, that was a massive success and we’re hoping for the same.”

The song was recorded at the famous Parr Street studios in Liverpool, with the video being shot at locations across the North West including the recording studio, Coronation Street and Blackpool. All artist royalties go to Help for Heroes.
