Actor and entertainer Shane Richie is joining London's Heart 106.2 to cover Jamie Theakston's holiday, RadioToday.co.uk can reveal.
He'll co-host the show with Harriet Scott for two weeks from Monday 10th May.
Heart 106.2’s Programme Director Adrian Stewart said: “We’re delighted to welcome Shane to Heart Breakfast. He’s perfect for the show – he’s a brilliant entertainer, he’s fun and he’s got a fantastic sense of humor. Along with Harriet, I know that London will love waking up to them each weekday morning!”
Shane Richie said: ”I’m really looking forward to presenting Heart Breakfast with Harriet as I have often been a guest on breakfast shows and to get this wonderful opportunity, it is honestly too good to be true! I have started setting the alarm for ‘stupid-a-clock’ to make sure I’m in the studio on time. The wife thinks I’ve taken up burglary!”
