Bauer’s Kiss wins NMA Award

Totalkiss.com has won at the New Media Age Effectiveness Awards on the first time of entry.

The awards recognise the best work in the field of UK New Media and are judged by Digital experts from across the industry – Kiss won in the entertainment category.

The Judges commended Kiss on its "impressive results in a highly competitive market and in the face of a savage economic downturn."

Bruce Mitchell, Head of Digital, London Radio at Bauer Media said: “Against an incredibly strong field, which included the X Factor and Nintendo Wii, I am absolutely delighted that the totalkiss.com team won this Award on our first time entering the competition.”

“Kiss is in the shape of its life as the brand continues to harness innovation and deliver great content in a highly creative and interactive way … The Kiss brand has built a strong relationship with its community, … on air; on line; on TV; Facebook and the Kiss Kube ‘listen live; listen again’ streaming service.”

Steve Parkinson, MD Kiss, commented: “This is a great win on the back of Kiss 100 being named 2010 Sony Station of the Year. Kiss stands out in a highly competitive market by offering a distinctive, creative and quality listen. By introducing new dimensions and maintaining a clear vision for the brand, we have generated strong audience engagement for Client campaigns and additional revenue opportunities. Well done to everyone on the totalkiss.com team.”
