Heart’s Sam Pinkham is to cycle from Birmingham to Nottingham for Charity.
Sam is one half of the Heart 106 Breakfast show with Amy; he will join the ‘Tour de LDC’ bike ride for the 53 mile Midlands stretch to raise money for Help For Heroes.
Joining Sam on the tour and leading the LDC team for the full cycle from Lands End to John O’Groats will be Mark Beaumont, who has completed a world record breaking circumnavigation of the world by bicycle – 18,296 miles in 194 days and 17 hours.
Sam said: “It is always great to be asked to do something like this which raises money for such a worthy cause. I’m really looking forward to the ride… I just hope I don’t slow them down too much!”
