Summer changes at Classic FM

Journalist John Suchet is joining Classic FM as the station launches a new summer schedule.

Other changes include Mark Forrest moving to breakfast, Simon Bates starting an hour later and current breakfast host Jane Jones moving to evenings.

Breakfast with Mark Forres will run from 6am till 9am, Simon Bates will move forward an hour 9am till 1pm, Jamie Crick will do 1pm till 5pm and John Brunning, one of the first voices to be heard on Classic FM, presents a new early evening show 5pm till 8pm instead of late nights.

Jane Jones will present from 8pm and Smooth Classics with Margherita Taylor moves to a new 10pm time slot and is extended to four hours.

At the weekends, John Suchet joins for Sunday afternoons 12pm till 3pm from 4th July and Tim Lihoreau takes on weekend breakfast whilst Myleene Klass begins a new laid-back late night music show on Saturday and Sunday evenings from 10pm.
