Global Radio's Regional Creative Director, North, has joined GMG Radio as Sales Director in the North East.
Kim Galvin will manage the team at regional stations Real Radio and Smooth Radio, reporting to newly recruited managing director Martyn Healy.
Before her role at Global, Kim was Creative Manager for Galaxy Radio Northeast, also having responsibility for managing the sales team there. Before working in radio Kim was a Marketing Manager for industrial companies, including Swedish multinational SKF.
On joining GMG Radio North East Kim said, “I am really looking forward to working with the sales team at Real and Smooth Radio. Many of them are people I've worked with before and we have some real talent there; people who stand out in the marketplace and have a real passion. I'm looking forward to helping the team feel good about who they are, what they can achieve together and believing they can really step up the pace now and reach higher.
