Heart 106 halves petrol prices

As well as playing more music variety, Heart in the East Midlands is offering petrol for 50 pence per litre.

The promotion applies to the first 106 cars to turn up at a particular petrol station once announced on-air at 8am on September 16th.

The first 106 cars to the pumps will drive away with a tank full at prices from 15 years ago, over half of current petrol prices.

Heart 106 Head of Programmes, Paul Iliffe, said: “Retro Petrol is our way of saying thanks to our listeners and giving something back to the people of the East Midlands in such pressing times. This stunt is just one of a number of exciting things happening on Heart Breakfast with Sam and Amy in September.”

The promotion was announced this morning at 7am.
