Moyles split makes headlines

It appears the reason Chris Moyles missed a week of broadcasting earlier this month was due to the break-up of his relationship with his girlfriend.

The Daily Mail originally reported the story, which was repeated in the News of the World and various internet sites.

Sophie, his girlfriend of eight years, wants to settle down and get married and have children, the newspaper reports. But it is claimed Chris Moyles ended the relationship because he was not ready for it.

The Daily Mail first reported the story on Saturday morning, and yesterday [link=]followed it up[/link] with pictures of the couple saying their goodbyes.

The News of the World on Sunday [link=]said[/link] Sophie has moved out of their home and is now living with friends.
