Norfolk presenter swims channel

BBC Radio Norfolk presenter David Webster has swum the English channel, raising almost £1500 for a local cancer charity.

He undertook the 21-mile swim in honour of his father, who died from cancer.

David completed the route from Folkestone to Calais in 13 hours and 15 minutes on Tuesday (21 September 2010). The feat had been delayed for a week because of poor weather conditions.

The money he's raising is going to Norfolk and Waveney cancer charity The Big C.
