EUROPE: A newsreader has quit live on-air during a regular Saturday bulletin.
The Norwegian radio journalist made the live outburst after complaining about her job and saying "nothing important has happened" in the news that day.
Pia Beathe Pedersen said her employers at the regional radio station NRK was putting too much pressure on the staff.
Pedersen said on-air she was quitting and walking away because she wanted to be able to eat properly again and be able to breathe. She had worked for the station for 18 months.
An NRK spokesman said Pedersen's actions were a surprise.
