Gavin Bruce is to take over permenantly as Managing Director of GMG Radio in Scotland, looking after the Real, Rock and Smooth brands.
He's been Acting MD for the last 10 months and his appointment follows the announcement last week that previous job holder Billy Anderson was to become the MD of the Real and Rock brands across the UK.
Gavin's been with GMG Radio in Glasgow since 2002 – first as a Sales Executive, then S&P Manager, Sales Manager and Sales Director.
Gavin told RadioToday.co.uk: "This is a very proud moment in my career. Being given this fantastic opportunity by GMG Radio, to lead such a brilliant group of people, is a challenge that I am very excited about. Our focus on creating great radio for our listeners across all three brands and delivering results for our advertisers remains unchanged."
