Classic Rock extends further

Absolute Classic Rock is extending its coverage area even further, after last week's news the station is available across the North of England.

The digital station will now broadcast on local DAB multiplexes in Scotland, Wales and The Midlands.

Its new weekday show from Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood will be available from January 10th to an extra combined TSA of three million in Ayr, Bath, Cardiff, Coventry and Exeter.

Absolute Radio Chief Executive Donnach O’Driscoll said of the expansion, “This additional expansion of the Absolute Classic Rock service offers yet more compelling reasons for listeners to love DAB digital radio, and provides additional coverage so that listeners can stay within the Absolute Radio family of brands”.
