Nicholas Owen joins Classic

Television journalist Nicholas Owen is joining Classic FM to host a weekly Saturday afternoon 12-3pm show from January 8th 2011.

Nicholas is best know for presenting ITV and BBC news bulletins and as ITN Royal Correspondent, covering the death of Princess Diana.

Nicholas Owen said: "I am absolutely delighted to be joining the Classic FM line-up. I have had such a marvellous time with all sorts of broadcasting over the years. This is a new challenge and I can't wait to get started."

Classic FM’s Managing Director Darren Henley said: “We are delighted to welcome Nicholas to the Classic FM family. His wealth of broadcasting experience, along with his passion for classical music, will be a tremendous asset to the station and I know that our audience will love him."
