Tower FM has suspended its breakfast show team of Brooksy and Vix after an off-air incident on Wednesday afternoon.
The presenters then broadcast the incident on Thursday, leading to them both being removed from the show and suspended without pay.
RadioToday.co.uk is awaiting further details of the event from owner UTV Radio – so doesn't know if this is the usual tried and tested industry PR stunt – or genuine.

[blockquote]"Due to the ill advised actions of the breakfast team on Wednesday afternoon and the subsequent broadcasting of the offence on Thursday morning's breakfast show, Brooksy and Vix have been removed from the show and suspended without pay.
