Starting 15 January, the Kiss team will be out over four Saturdays at Westfield, Lakeside, Whitgift Centre in Croydon and in Central London. As well as live auditions, entrants will be able to upload their audition online, for the chance to be seen by the judges.

The judging panel will comprise of Kiss Group Programme Director Andy Roberts and a Kiss presenter at each event, including Manny Norté, Rickie, Melvin and Charlie who will shortlist the five best entrants from each heat. From there a gauntlet of trials and challenges will be set, where the most successful contestant will be crowned The Kiss Chosen One.

Liz Cunningham, Head of Commercial Programming, Kiss told "The Kiss Chosen One with BlackBerry is a huge piece of activity on the Kiss Network and marks the 4th quarter of a great partnership between Kiss and BlackBerry. For the first time ever we're holding live, open auditions to find the next Kiss presenter, and with such a natural brand fit, BlackBerry are the perfect partner for this."

Andy Roberts, Kiss Group Programme Director added: "It's always important for us to grow our own talent and to offer new opportunities to our listeners – The Kiss Chosen One is a great chance for someone to get a head start in our industry on one of the most listened and watched media brands in the UK."
