Capital staff go back to Uni

Capital FM Scotland’s Garry Spence and Pete Casci spent an evening offering professional advice to students at Glasgow Caledonian University last week.

Drivetime presenter Garry and Breakfast Show producer Pete also broadcast live on the university’s Radio Caley station for two hours.

Pete said: ‘We were delighted that Capital FM could help advise some local university students on how to approach a radio career and what first steps to take. I hope that we were able to encourage some of the media students to look at radio as an option.

Organiser, James Maguire, who is studying Media at the university, said: ‘I am delighted that Garry and Pete were able to take some time to encourage the potential next generation of radio DJs and producers here in Scotland!’
