UTV plans update for talkSPORT apps

An updated version of the current iPhone and iPad app for talkSPORT is to be developed by the personal media company TigerSpike.

TigerSpike will also create a new tablet app for Sport magazine, owned by UTV Pitch – part of UTV Media.

Since the talkSPORT website was re-launched just six months ago, traffic has increased by 600%.

Ben Martin, Head of Digital at talkSPORT, said: “We are very excited about working with TigerSpike on the development of new and updated products for talkSPORT and Sport magazine. TigerSpike has a proven track record in innovation through new publishing technology, so it’s an exciting time to develop new and engaging products for our audiences.”
